the animals that rule the Chinese Zodiac Calendar. Check out your
temperament and fate and also of your family and friends born in
these years. This is one place you could mistake for The Jungle
Book ! To find out more of your-self read on...
THE RAT
Witty and clever, I am kind only to those who I care. Remarkably
easy to get along with, our charms are universally known and loved
as much as Micky Mouse! Thrifty and greedy, my self-esteem soars
higher than the skylines of New York! I am the Rat; reserved on
the up-front and sociable within. Accepting challenges is my game;
promoting my agenda - my main aim. You take me as I am; 'cause I
am considered lucky in China and Japan.
Rats can tolerate Dragons and Monkeys.
Famous Personalities : Pope John Paul, William Shakespeare,
Prince Charles.
Years: 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996.
THE OX
I'm a born leader, methodical and dependable. You may find
me working
tirelessly. True, that I appear asocial and introverted in crowds,
but I do tend to feel rather lonely and lost! It's my inability
to connect with others which makes me appear so serious. This is
the sole reason of my hurt. We are the 'good guys' of the Chinese
Zodiac, capable of unbiased advise, our only weakness is our judgmental
nature.
The Snake and the Rooster are most compatible with
the Ox.
Famous Personalities: Jawaharlal Nehru, Walt Disney,
Adolf Hitler.
Years: 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997.
THE TIGER
Well,
well, well ! We are the Tigers. My ambition takes place of my survival
instinct. Majestic, self -possessed whatever you may call me, I'm
always authority...any doubts, grrrr?? We tend to be a bit more
intense than others, since we are definitely the Kings around here.
Noble and warm hearted we are known for our courage. Seduction may
not always be on our mind but we carry a raw appeal that's extremely
attractive to other signs. But cautious is what you should be when
around us; 'cause we're prone to attacks of over-emotions and general
attacks too! Will any one ever be able to teach us the value of
moderation.
Tigers love Horses and Dogs.
Famous Personalities: Marilyn Monroe, Queen Elizabeth
II, Groucho Marx.
Years: 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998.
THE RABBIT
We're the most attractive and not the Tiger! And mind you
we're not here to fight nor to to create conflicts. In fact, we
break down at the slightest hint of a conflict! So what if we seem
disinterested and contemplative in our approach to problems. Insecurity
would make anyone like us! Solid base is what look for in life to
thrive. Rabbits are known to give more of themselves in their relations
than is known to be healthy,...it's our over sentimentalism which
makes us do such things. We are extremely timid and we also make
the best of partners,; 'cause we just adore decorating our homes
and entertaining at home.
The most compatible match for a rabbit is the Goat or the
Pig.
Famous Personalities: Albert Einstein, Joseph Stalin,
David Rockefeller.
Years: 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999.
THE DRAGON
So what if we're the luckiest? So what if we're the most
powerful and the most fiery
and the most brashest of all the signs? We have large, warm hearts
of gold! Famous-we are-blessed with natural charisma and intelligence.
Tenacious in our approach to life, we never miss an opportunity.
We tend to be materially most successful in life. In love also we
are lucky. But the Dragon is known far and wide for it's ego. A
weakened Dragon would represent Sad Sack not ready to accept defeat
nor ready to apologize! Flexibility, tolerance are words missing
in his dictionary!
A Dragon is the Monkey's or the Rat's best
friend.
Famous Personalities: Frank Senatra, John Lenon, Yehudi
Menuhen.
Years: 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000.
THE SNAKE
Hiss...shh, I'm sleeping! Only if you have a decent excuse
to wake me-up you could! I'm rather retired by temperament, you
could call me lazy at times; but
never mistake me to be inattentive! One of the most intelligent,
charming, seductive, hard working animals of the Chinese Zodiac,
we are insecure deep within. It is our intuitiveness and introversion
along with a somewhat gregarious nature paired with business savvy
skills which sets us apart from the rest. Since we rely more on
our instincts and gut feelings rather than logical conclusions we
are known to be successful in business. With a stronger sense of
self and a little humility we'd be super-snakes, comfortable in
our own skins!
The most compatible match for a Snake is the Rooster
or the Ox.
Famous Personalities: Indira Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln,
John F. Kenedy
Years: 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001.
THE HORSE
'Free as a bird' is how I'd like to be remembered. Independent
of all, self- reliant
and by-ourselves, permanently in love and never bound by it! It's
a paradox, yet we're made that way. It's an innate sense of romance
and seduction that gives us the raw sex appeal-no wonder we make
the world's most famous playboys and playgirls. Funny though it
may seem, we have a strange fear, which leaves us feeling empty
within or lonely in a crowd-it is the fear that we'll be exposed
as a fraud! Traveling is second nature to us and we follow our whims,
which is why we leave most things incomplete! Neighh !!!!
The most compatible match for a Horse is the Dog or
the Tiger.
Famous Personalities: Barbara Streisand, F.D.
Roosevelt, Rembrandt.
Years: 1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978,
1990, 2002.
THE SHEEP
Also called The Goat, we are known as the most feminine sign
of all. We are the artists, creative and fashionable. That's the
reason why appearances
matter to us most. The goat is also known to delight in indulging
a lover's every wish. Also known as the esoteric goats we love day
dreaming. Not much organised nor materialistic, we find solace in
our own imagination. It's the sensitive streak and our artistic
temperament in us which makes us feel insecure. We generally withdraw
from arguments and pull away from conflicts. But for once we cannot
take too much criticism.
The Sheep gets along best with the Pig or the
Rabbit.
Famous Personalities: Mohammed Ali, Barbara Walters,
Billy Jean king.
Years: 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003.
THE MONKEY
Chee, Chee, we are the Monkeys. Curious and nosey, we love experimenting- care
to join us? For we are the Badshahs of parties. We have a witty
sense of humor and our immense knowledge is not just to show -off
though we generally indulge in it! It's always fun to be around
us cause we are also good listeners, so what if accidents always
surround us! We definitely make exiting lovers and are to handle
complicated situations with ease. Not mean nor malicious, we are
care free and simply self indulged. We just need to experiment like
humans need to breathe.
The most compatible match for a Monkey is the Rat or
the Dragon.
Famous Personalities: Mick Jagger, Edward Kennedy, Nelson
Rockefeller.
Years: 1920, 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980,
1992, 2004.
THE ROOSTER
Cock a doodle do! And you can cannot pass through, without
me noticing you! Quick thinkers and practical, with good looks and
a sharp mind; we are so
accurate -- people mistake us to be Psychic! You could see us mostly
as lawyers, accountants, brain surgeons- you see we are the honest,
hard working, conservative kind. But not the ones who would get
tricked easily! We tend to get a bit tedious about neatness. We
accept but only on our terms; but a Rooster can be the most loyal,
trusting and supportive mate around, one who bends over backward
to please its loved ones.
A Rooster gets along best with the Ox or even the
Snake.
Famous Personalities: Elton John, Prince Phillip, Pope
Paul VI.
Years: 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981,
1993, 2005.
THE DOG
Who let the song out-the one on Dogs being let out? You see
are have a few irrational
fears, but that does not make us any worse! In fact we are the loyal,
faithful and honest ones who are duty bound. Being temperamental
is one thing, you cannot blame us for our mood swings! Dogs make
excellent listeners and are known to fight against injustice. Being
trust worthy ourselves, we never trust others. We have high standards
and are excellent at business. Actually we always need something
physical to do to keep us occupied.
The most compatible match for a Dog is the Tiger
or the Horse.
Famous Personalities: Winston Churchill, Elvis Presley,
Pierre Cardin.
Years: 1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006.
THE BOAR
So what if western astrology doesn't appreciate us much;
the Pig or the Boar in
Chinese Astrology is considered the most generous and honorable.
Forgiving and understanding but perfectionists, don't misinterpret
us as snobs! A Bore is very caring and loving towards his friends
and makes an ideal life partner. You see we tend to ignore the whole
populace and spend time only with the ones who we care for. Luxurious
by nature we tend to delight in finery and riches - fine foods and
bubble baths - if time permit, just laze around napping or making
love! We generally refuse to see any negative quality in our life
partners and this the sole reason why we are more often than not
taken for granted. We don't like to add fuel to fire. Our funda
in life is, "Let bygones be bygones".
A Bore is compatible with the Rabbit or the Goat.
Famous Personalities: Alfred Hitchcock, Julie Andrews,
Ronald Reagan
Years: 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983,
1995, 2007.
That's all folks ! See you later, with a lot more interesting grub
